Tried to go and read at my Indie Bookstore so I can finish my current read. But ended up coming back home as the whole town is there due to wet weather and there's no space to read. Back to my bed to finish this up.

Just got this 800+ page behemoth of a book with a high quality print for $20 MSRP at my independent bookstore. At the same time, Amazon is selling the same at little over $7 and there's no way they are doing this at a profit, but only to kill off all the local bookstores. Such a disgusting predator!

TikTok algorithm is next level. I deleted my account back in January and then created a new one yesterday. By now the whole algorithm is exactly like my old account. Same vibe!

Oh FFS! The $3200 in Stimulus over the pandemic is blamed by "economists" even now for everything that went wrong in the economy. Imagine how long this would be credit for the US failures!
