Pré-coffee brain : ‘The Taming of the Birb ´

Unassuming like gypsum. Deceptively hard when falling onto it. Yet it flows so smoothly it fills the cracks, follows you everywhere. You find it years later in a spot you never knew existed, slightly gray and dry with the glittering sand. It seems impossible to get rid of, and hauntingly familiar.
