The advantage that countries like NX, Australia and Britain have is that their leader, ie Prime Minister, has to have won an election as the leader of a party, not in a separate election as an individual in his or her own right. They are politicians first so know how to negotiate.

You need to do a lot more than that. Stop voting in people just because they are celebrities. Only vote in people with at least some political experience.

There’s this weird idea that Europe won’t be able to stop Russia invading without help from the USA. Russia’s military can’t finish off Ukraine, so why does anyone think that they have the ability to invade Europe.

Russia can’t afford to take over Greenland and China doesn’t operate the same way that the USA does and isn’t a military threat to Greenland in any way at all.

Also South Korea did not become a democracy until after a revolution in 1987. Prior to that it had authoritarian governments and suffered from military coups.
