Martir Garcia Lara, a 4th grader at Torrance Elementary School in CA, was detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement during an immigration hearing in Houston, TX, on 5/29. Martir attended the hearing expecting an update on his father's immigration status. They were detained and separated .

Send a message to giant companies ripping us off. On Feb. 28, don't shop online, in big box stores, no Amazon, no Walmart, no Best Buy, fast food nor gas. Just one day will send a powerful message. Think they'll miss our DEI dollars? Don't spend. Then, let them know why.
