I am absolutley not a Musk fan. He's a danger to our very democracy. That said, you are really misrepresenting this. Time isn't the way to look at it. There have been 458 launches. 455 of them were successful. The shuttle failed 2 times in only 135 launches. Falcon 9 is clearly more reliable.

This is pretty much the first time this criticism has been valid. It looks like the 2nd stage raptor engines failed this time just like they did last time. Iteration only works when you identify problems and then fix them before the next iteration.

Pure stupidity. Many of us Tesla owners, are lefty environmentalists. I shouldn’t have to lose money to get out of my car loan because these knuckle-dragging mouth breathers don’t know how to target the real enemy. Why don’t they go set fire to their local GOP headquarters instead of my car?

Except it’s not at all close to any kind of launch. SLS is a money pit and the lunar gateway station that is absolutely required is nowhere near ready either. It’s a toss up as to whether any of the other parts will be ready before the Starship lander.
