We elected good trustees last time but they slowly left and we end up with the worst runners-up without further voting.Well-funded right wing orgs like Campaign for Life are now smearing our good trustees and propping up their picks.It’s an exhausting struggle while harm happens in the meantime.

I hear this. But they’ve chipped away at our board‘s budget on initiatives that mention equity.We saw a complete detour of their mission(big $$ in legal fees)this past year as a few trustees challenged flags that signal inclusion. Delegates called LGBTQ students pathogens,perverts,promiscuous.

I’m sorry you have to spend your time and energy on THIS. Life is complicated and busy already how do you add “fight for basic freedoms” to it all and still be ok? 🤗

Exactly …. Folks have to step back and see the bigger picture here. Stop getting caught up in the day to day and see there are bigger moves being made.

I can also predict rereading Amor Towles’ books again someday.

Oh yes! And my grade 5 teacher reading it aloud to us while sobbing at the sad parts. I’ll never forget this one.
