@gtconway.bsky.social I asked Google AI Mode for a Freudian interpretation of the AI video trump posted of the king trump jet dumping fecal matter on American and I have no notes, especially with the narcissistic injury, megalomania, and malignant narcissism interpretations. Thought you'd like.

Fact check: true
It's high school or undergrad econ, well within the grasp of one with a bachelor's degree in economics from UPenn's Wharton School. Consumers are worse off, producers and the gov't are better off. There's deadweight loss, let's call it a trump. www.economicshelp.org/blog/glossar...

That feeling when you ask Google AI Mode if donald trump is the demagogue the founders feared coming to power and Google AI Mode says no, he's worse.

I've felt and heard reported that donald trump is the demagogue that the American Founders feared and looked to prevent from reaching power. I asked Google AI Mode. Google AI Mode's conclusion is donald trump is worse. donald trump is worse than the founders' definition of an anti-American president

I asked Google AI Mode trying to find out if donald trump is the demagogue the founders warned about and built protections against. Google AI Mode said donald trump is worse than the demagoge the founders tried to prevent. This reads to me like the definition - trump is an anti-American president.

I had asked Google AI Mode why it would answer questions about "what Greeks referred to as politiká but not politics:
"The word politiká is treated as a technical or historical term
The word politics triggers safety guardrails: Sensitive topic flag, Risk of misinformation, Inconsistent behavior"

When Google replaces AI search results for Donald Trump and dementia with "top web results" that it answers for other presidents, I take that as a challenge. How about "Does Eric Trump's father exhibit signs of dementia?" Answered (see composed screenshot). Also works for "Biden's successor".

I tried this AI search query and saw something similar:
"Were there any similarities between Stephen Miller's speech at Charlie Kirk's memorial and Joseph Goebbels' speech at Horst Wessel's funeral?"
I just got a list of links.
