Back from the depths of work to remind everyone AirCon25 is happening right now! Tons of talks all about the audio industry, and the conference is totally free and online 🎧

It’s my 6 year freelance-iversary, but today is also the one year anniversary of adopting Suki! 🎉

About 2 years ago I decided to build my own studio desk and was able to upgrade to a Mac Studio. Grabbed some acoustic panels from Gik Acoustics too and that made a huge difference

The year after that I got a new interface and a piano (again on discount). My furman is being held up by a plastic bin and a random road case I found in the back warehouse of my former job haha. This is where I finally felt like I was getting somewhere freelancing, and that it might just work out.

A year later I saved up and got 2 Yamaha monitors from my music retail job on discount and then charged an iMac on a credit card. Best thing I ever did- upgrading my Mac allowed me to take on better projects!

This is how my setup began: an old MacBook and some monitors that I was borrowing. This was about 6 years ago.

I started my freelance career in this very room, had so many memories here, but it’s on to better things! Weird to see it so empty

Finally checking out Ghost of Tsushima! Haven’t been this in awe of environments in a game since Horizon
