Reassemble by Packing -> Packing by Structure session -> SIGGRAPH 2025
I hope I'm not using it too differently than you, maybe I am, but from my attempts it couldn't automate much.
I wasted more time fighting with it than I would've just implementing logs.

For engine/geometry C++ work, the step-by-step corrections it needs are so detailed the frustration just isn’t worth it.

if your task is outside the model’s training distribution you’re basically fighting it the whole time.

Is this cognitive dissonance from vegan thoughts and their otherwise consistent ethics

There's a chapter in Zero to One about 'dumb' overpromising working a lot better at both achieving the goal and getting people that can do so.

I think funding inspirational sci-fi television and movies would work better though, but I doubt Lana Wachowski would take that call.

I, for one, generally try to avoid policy proposals that have escaping the wheel of samsara as a starting assumption.

In that case you build as there's not enough supply, or at least make it as easy as possible to build.

There's a difference between a professor dating a doctor and a professor dating a doctor who's their student or assistant or employee.

We’ve reached a point where the private sector is taking bolder research risks than some academia grants, an inversion that should be absurd.

If anything it's the grant lord's fear of Research being useless that's delaying progress and killing the geese.

Nietzsche must have said ressentiment because he thought it was something different than envy. I mostly don't. The difference is resentment– and I'm just gonna use the English word– is born not just of wanting what someone has, but of a permanent frustration of the desire for revenge.

I think it's interesting that whenever social media erupts in outrage over the good fortune of others no one ever uses the word "envy".
