Possession
Humanity desires total possession of the universe
A man desires the possession of a family
The possession of land and property
Government demands possession of citizens obedience
Possession is the root of conflict between humanity

Memories can be gifts allowing one to bask in past glory
For some however, it is a curse forever echoing
A view of constant mistakes and perceived needs
A idiots idea of what an adult desires
Actions that create memories of absolute sadness and depravity

A carp swims up a waterfall to become a dragon
A dragon who is the king of the world
I will not walk quietly into this world
It will feel my power, my roar, and do as it is told
Challenge will change me from a carp into a dragon
A dragon that will change the world for the better.

Fire
Flames dancing wildly into the vast open sky
Framing an uncontrollable raw power on open display
Power to destroy so violent and indomitable
A wildfire burst through the forest
Burning everything in its wake
Leaving a shell of what once existed
Silence resonates in the desolate atmosphere

Campfire
A lone campfire crackling giving off a lively scene
Its smoke giving off an intoxicating scent dances in the sky
Wildlife singing its beautiful tune though they are not to be seen

Life is mysterious and unknown
For some it is wild and untamed
For others it is planned and set in stone
Who am I to decide my fable, my plan, my life
Mankind's desire to make a mark is my strife
Undeniable, Unquestioned, Understood

Each moment of happiness is a brick. We use those bricks to build a wall to protect us from the things in the world that would try to make us feel pain. With enough of them, we build more walls, and even add a roof. As we collect these moments of happiness, we protect ourselves from the storms.
