Also anywhere near the Malhuer Wetlands on the Westside of the Steens Mountains. So places like French Glen are right out.

Well yes, my wife has this essential stuff that smells fantastic that works. However, there are a couple of places in the Pacific Northwest I wouldn't suggest trying it without some industrial strength stuff. Anywhere near Indian Heaven, located between Mt St Helens and Mt Adams

Mosquitoes seem to be the biggest detractor. Other than that the experience is pretty enjoyable.
