Today, we had a fantastic time visiting VAST Staffordshire with representatives from DCMS. We got to experience their Poems, Pies, and Pals event, part of the Know Your Neighbourhood project. Such a heart warming day filled with delicious pies, inspiring poetry, and micro-volunteering opportunities.

We were delighted to win the Commitment to Care Award at the recent Supporting Care Leavers Awards for our work with care leavers across the county. Being able to help people reach the next stage of their life following a period of disadvantage is a truly wonderful thing.

Yesterday we attended a wonderful lunch at the House of Lords held to celebrate the work of Community Foundations across the UK. Hosted by the Rt Hon Lord Brownlow of Shurlock Row, we had the honour of representing Staffordshire.
