On 10/25, we hosted over 20 community members, climate activists, and youth leaders for our second Ventura County Potluck with a Purpose!💚 We had such a wonderful afternoon filled with food, community, organizing, and letter writing around the Polluter Pays Climate Superfund Act!

Last week, CFROG staff members headed to Philadelphia to join organizers from across the country to participate in Midwest Academy’s Organizing For Justice Training Part 2! We are excited to bring back and share all that we learned with our communities here in Ventura County!

📣Central Coast Youth Say: Make Polluters Pay!📣 Last Friday, students across CA took action in support of the Polluter Pays Climate Superfund Act! From school walkouts to powerful letter writing, their message is clear: the time for action is now, and it starts with holding polluters accountable.

📣 Santa Barbara County just took a critical step toward phasing out fossil fuels!

The Board of Supervisors voted in favor of the Oil & Gas Phase-Out Ordinance, moving the policy to the next phase of implementation planning.

The fight continues, but the plan is moving forward!
