Covering the game professionally for 7 years helped me a lot regarding fandom. It didn’t keep my son from crying for 15 minutes in the upper deck concourse after Game 3. But the odds are eternally stacked under current CBA rules & therefore, you have to focus on playing the ball — not the jerseys.

It breaks your heart. I tend to like baseball over Baseball because I can watch my kid get good enough to play at an advanced level but not good enough to play at an elite one. But I will live and die — or die and die — with the Brewers.
