Found Santa’s wrapping paper in the hall closet. Would later go to great pains to hide Santa’s paper from my children!

After my son died in 2017 someone wished me a ‘gentle’ holiday. I felt that and have passed on that sentiment. My body was so agitated after his death that all I craved was a bit of peace.

To be fair, were they expired? And in our house it’s my daughter who does the throwing out🤪

My heart breaks for the Reiners. Not just the tragedy of their deaths but the decade(s) leading up to it. They were dealing with their son’s addiction and mental health issues. It’s rough. I know.
