We popped along the rail line to Ely as it was such a nice day. As we got on the train home, a man woke up & asked where we were. The convo moved on to where he’d been/was going etc & he also mentioned he supports Middlesbrough. Amazing how much football chat you can cram into a few mins 😂👏

On the very important topic of Ableism I encountered an example en route to the game yesterday. 10.20 train from Cambridge to KX was very crowded. I didn’t get a seat like many others. BUT there were 2 young Chelsea lads right by me, sitting. Pretending not to see me. 1/

So I’m in this jacket ( plenty of badges visible on the front) with my colbolt blue boots and my away shirt & the bloke on the door at the Tea Bar says ‘evening madam, are you here for Tottenham as this is a home bar only.’ No words 😶 I genuinely thought he was joking. 😵💫🥹

I’m not sure I’ve ever heard the Coronation Street theme tune the whole way through before. I don’t watch the programme despite the fact it’s 3 months younger than me. But what’s nice is that no one wrote naff words for it at a later date, unlike Eastenders 🤣

When a game you’re watching as a neutral is mostly stalemate & boring you kind of want it to go to penalties just for the drama 🥴 It has livened up a bit though.

Seen a lot of Gooner Women’s team fans absolutely hating on us atm when they ought to be thanking their lucky stars they’re actually in the CL semis & getting behind their own team. Instead they’re raging & we need to fill the Bridge with genuine fans for our home leg & not gooners in Barca shirts.
