Your comparison, moving to another state for convenience, to a family WALKING hundreds of miles with nothing, is cognitively absurd and morally wrong. While some of us must flee, it isnt something that is available to all. So it’s not a solution to the massive increase of fascism!

This assumes families can afford to do that, get jobs in another state, transport children, sell their home, maybe transfer care for aging parents… to assume migrating to another state is THAT simple is fucking stupid incentive, moronic and dangerous.
