Growing up, my family lived below the poverty line, and no one on either side had ever gone to university.

Starting as a young adult, I’ve needed 13 surgeries and procedures over 3 decades to save my eye sight.

Because I was born in Canada, I was able to earn an excellent education, and I can see.

Trump has managed the unthinkable; to unite all Canadians (except the dummies) against a common foe. I haven’t seen this kind of national pride in a long long time.

Reminder: They're trying to demoralize you, and they're doing a great job of it. Part of resisting is making time for joy despite the attempts to make you feel this is not the time for it. Love your people. Dig the art that speaks to you. Go to the places where life flows into you. You deserve joy.

Folks in my boomer-heavy small town Facebook groups are always hating on people who use drugs, so I love to remind them of the $6B alcohol deficit, the 15,000 lost lives annually, and that the big problem is housing, not drugs. www.ccsa.ca/sites/defaul...

It’s too bad people blame “the government” for everything, instead of individual human greed and the constant drive for personal wealth at the expense of literally anything else. We’ve lost concern for the common good, and the world has turned to shit as a result

I realize now that I have a “trade deficit” with the store across the street. I walked over and bought a jug of milk. The store is abusing me and I’m tired of subsidizing it by buying something at a fair price that I want. I’m going to apply a tariff that will raise the future price of milk for me.

Do we need links engines for websites again, like in the 90s? Social media is where I go to stay informed, but I hate it all so much.

Hey guys, it’s the billionaires. And the liars who work for the billionaires. They’re the problem. Governments are shitty too, but that’s because they work for billionaires.
