The national bird of Costa Rica, el yigüirro (Turdus grayi), enjoyed papaya at my feeder in the hibiscus during early morning rain. At 4000 ft between the Caribbean and Pacific, it’s 66°F. Known nationwide, it’s a beloved symbol and the clay-colored thrush in English. #Puravida
