In most of CT, we cut it in squares. A medium or large pie is usually 16 slices - 12 squares, 4 triangles. It's sooo much easier to handle.

30 years ago I made my first quilt for my then 4 yr old son. It endured some rough wear and tear and eventually wore out. Today his older brother's Christmas gift to me was a part of that quilt that he was able to salvage, which he matted, and framed. Yes, I cried. #quiltsky
