The Political Theory research group will organise a Democracy in Crisis seminar and workshop series during the Fall Term. We open this series with a movie night on 23 september, with a screening of Starship Troopers - one of the best cinematic depictions of the emotional appeal of fascism.

I'm very happy to announce that Matthew Haji-Michael @theruleoflawguy.bsky.social and myself Peter Verpoorten @peterverpoorten.bsky.social have been elected as Research Group co-chairs for the coming academic year 2025-2026. We will do our utmost best to honor the trust placed in us going forward.
