My favorite thing in the world is watching friends play the Mother games and realizing just how much was inspired from them. The Dangerous Foes theme from Earthbound Beginnings being the first battle track you hear in the game is the first in a line of "Oh, THIS is where that's from!?" moments.

You have to remind yourself that there are far more people who care about the world than don't. What I've seen these last few weeks is proof positive of that.

I don't think I'll ever 'become a person' the way my brain wants me to until I can accept that it's an impossible proposition that makes no sense. My feelings of derealization probably cannot be conquered with a planner. But I'll probably keep trying anyway.
