A few weeks ago, I decided to take carpentry classes as a way to relieve stress and it has been a great decision. Finished the beginners lesson and I am already working on my 2nd project.

Probably the lowest point in the series for me. Some stuff was tolerable on the previous entry, but it becomes too much here. Repetitive gameplay loop, some terrible tropes and a MC that gets more annoying with each hour. Not even the plot twist can salvage this entry.

@dark1x.bsky.social Hi John! In commemoration of the 25th Anniversary of Perfect Dark I was going through some its trailer and I was surprised to see this bit about "Real-Time Ray Tracing". I am guessing they are referring to something diferent to what the term means now? This is the 1998 Trailer.

Considering we might get the Great Circle next month, I felt like playing a previous adventure of the Dr. Jones
Overall it is a fun romp, despite lacking a lot of polish in certain areas. It really feels like a proto-Uncharted, just with a lot of extra QTE's

The escort mission was absolutely hell and the platforming was brutal. No wonder I never beat it as a kid. Seeing Obi-wan with a rocket launcher was fun tho!

Arise is not a bad game, it's just a disappointing one. The story starts really strong, but turns very generic near the end.
The MC turns bland once more information about him is revealed. Also, whoever decided to only have one pool of CP for the whole party, should feel bad.
