Ummmmm democracies existed in the time of the Old Testament and the US isnt even the longest lasting democracy in the Americas. That is the Iroquois, which started at least a century before 1776 and is still present today.

The only emails needed to run a front page story in 2015 were literally email conversations with a primary source, who offered corroborating sources, and an NYT journalist. I can name at least 6 Clinton articles with weaker sources that were front pg.

What kind of mental gymnastics are you pulling?

The biggest problem will be the icing that will happen in a month or two as winter comes. Usually, they only have to worry on take off and landing.

If median household income was increased at the rate of GDP like it had been in the late 70s and earlier, then the median household income would be around 100k today.

She is setting up to run for some kind of statewide race and sees the problems if the RNC and Trump refuse to back her in a primary.

My wife and I made the decision to watch the Bills together. She is a great wife. We have done it together, and we will continue to do it together.

Coincidently, she has also gotten really good at sudoku

If people tell you protesting is performative only, remember the Irish grapefruit ladies. No matter how small, it can have a big impact eventually.

this is Josh. Brady isn't making him throw it in the turf.
October 14, 2025 at 2:10 AM
To put it in perspective. Median household income should be almost 100k today. That is how much money has been siphoned off the middle class

Let's not discount the use of a Truth and Reconciliation Commission as an alternative. They were very useful in Rwanda and South Africa, and it doesn't exclude the possibility of imprisonment.

They are so racist they dont realize senator elections in Puerto Rico would be massively competitive and not solid blue

The amount of conservatives that want to deport him is expected racism. The amount of people 'worried' he will be deported is staggering ignorance.

Yes and If you were ever taught the Civil War was about state's rights in any capacity, you have been affected by their propaganda.

One of the most effective propaganda groups in US history.

To put it bluntly. If the North promised to enforce the fugitive slave act in perpetuity and guaranteed they would never abolish slavery; they still would have seceded. That is how important the issue of the expansion of slavery was.
October 6, 2025 at 11:48 PM
Then, by your logic, all of the northern states that voted for it wanted to be slave states? Because that is how the delegations of NY, PA, VT, MA, etc. all voted for it.

No one is arguing the South didnt want the FSA. I am saying the most important issue was expansion and it's supported by facts
October 6, 2025 at 11:46 PM
You're just sealioning at this point. Making up history to fit your agenda doesn't help just makes you seem uneducated.

The South told us exactly why the conceded, the attempted compromises tell us the issues that were the most important. Specifically the last ditch Crittenden Compromise.
October 6, 2025 at 9:05 PM
Only one state mentioned that as a reason for secession. The expansion of slavery was mentioned in all of them. The main reason does not mean the only reason.

It is important to remember history as it happened not as what suits our current events

I dont think you actually read or at least understood what I wrote. No one is pretending they wanted to be left alone.
