Q: Got any cool OCs that have been sitting on the backburner for far too long? A: oh DO I There's my lancer/SS14 character, Caro, who simultaneously a cowgirl, a mech pilot, and a prince from a planet that gets blasted back to the medieval age with a solar EMP every year, and then there's my OTHER lancer character, Blackbox, who's a robot that's secretly a subaltern being piloted by an alien from a planet that was thought to have been completely wiped of all life. I got a handful of other SS14 characters but they're mostly either gimmicks/jokes or more simple character archetypes. Then there's my fucked up and evil doctor Maria, her excitable and manipulative boyfriend Hector, and their kidnapped pet slut Cyanide forming maybe the world's most codependent and confusingly stable polycule. Also they're all vampires. I have a WIP of them kidnapping him and slowly training him to be addicted to them, binding him in silver and digging it in to his skin so it burns and threatening to leave him in the sun if he doesn't listen to them. :> They're closer to active than backburner, but also adhd is a bitch and writing is a sisyphean ordeal and i wanna ramble about them, Sophie is a wizard who grinded out the dungeons up until the final boss, lost, and only THEN realized she could be fucking the monsters instead of killing them, but the final boss contrives it in a way that makes her have to go back to the first dungeon with a party so she has to hide both how much stronger she is AND the fact that she's trying to fuck the monsters. And then a few characters from games my friends have made that I playtested, like 159 the mech pilot who got extremely sensitive bunny ears and immediately became the party's squeaky toy, or Pyxis the 100% totally still a dude femboy bimbo who dresses up in a skimpy space captain getup and swings a laser axe around. his name is not pixie and she is NOT a girl you guys no matter how he whines when she puts on the brainwashing visor and if i get into…

Q: What's your favorite character archetype in a story? As vague or specific as you'd like to say, any "genre" of story as well. What kinda characters just like activate something in you A: oh baby NOW we're getting into the meat there are so many good ass options that it's hard to narrow down. obviously i eat up some good toxic/tragic yuri like popcorn, but i also go nuts when someone drags themselves through hell and gunfire for someone/something (more of a trope but still Fucking Whips) on top of that, character shifts that happen once shit hits the fan or everything finally calms down for once in their life also give me so much room to rotate them. like YES contrast this character's values and behaviors in and out of high stress environments!! test them in fire and let me see them cry when they realize the peace they gave so much for isn't going to be suddenly ripped away from them anymore!!
