Crop of sketches from my most recent life drawing session - decided to really lean into the shadows as the lighting was hella dramatic and the model was killing the dynamic poses. Pretty pleased with how these turned out!

Another oldie and one I'll probably redo at some point - I'm *obsessed* with these antler-clad queens whom I'd spot at various Pride marches when I lived in Bristol. This portrait doesn't do them justice but was fun to draw! ✨

Sketch inspired by a friend - as much as some of the details frustrate me (proportions that aren't right etc) I still like the movement of the fabric, the rope impression on her leg and how the shadows are rendered.

Still working on getting dynamic poses right, but I think this does begin to capture the bliss of existing freely in your body and your own space.
