The endangered Northern Bald Ibis (Geronticus eremita)! Their silly appearance is matched by their latin name, which roughly translates to "old man desert hermit".

Wild populations are limited to Morocco, though their numbers have been improving with the help of reintroduction programs :)

Bearded Vulture! (Gypaetus barbatus)

These guys are the only known vertebrate with a diet that consists of up to 90% pure bone.

They also "dye" their body feathers shades of rust with dust or mud. This behavior is thought to be cosmetic. ✨️
