Now that it's pride month I'm remembering the time I had to get my laptop repaired, and when I got it back the lights on the keyboard had been swapped to the colors of the trans flag. I wasn't out to anyone in my life yet, but I guess the repair guy found a few things.

I have noticed an odd new usage of the phrase "to this day" in some amateur video essayists lately. Instead of the normal "to present day" kinda meaning, they're using it to mean "to this point in our story". I find this fascinating because I cannot think of a reason to use it in that manner.

Not sure how I ended up on the Writing side of Bsky, but it's actually getting me motivated to write again after nearly a decade. Thanks y'all.
