It's funny because I have definitely noticed a general breakdown in general of "being considerate of others in public places where we must share space" since COVID, but the primary culprit of that breakdown is their base lol

It's actually equally badly thought out imo - so much so that J. Henderson had to pitch her own lawless fix to the impoundment situation bc the Trump people couldn't figure one out. SCOTUS majority is just as if not more determined than the Vought people to make up their own constitutional order

The substance of the Brown and Cornell deals I think indicate that the admin was tapping out. Besides capitulating being bad in general, neither agreement did much for them. Columbia is in its own category here (in part bc it was a protection payment to do bad stuff it wanted to do to its students)

After looking at the list again, if Murray were 10 years younger I'd vote her. She's been strong and on the ball these past few months. Baldwin or Heinrich would also work, but value over replacement over Schatz prob wouldn't amount to as much.
