I have a Trumpian brother-in-law I’ve known for over 45 years who is a racist but always kept his vulgar speech to himself until this Thanksgiving. All of a sudden he is uninhibitedly using the most vulgar terms to describe his black neighbors. It’s like he was given permission and is loving it.

The No Kings effect will quickly fade into the ether unless it is followed up with landslide victories in Virginia and New Jersey. Anything less and the Republicans will stay the course knowing that they need not worry about 2026 - they’ll be re-elected as long as they don’t piss off Dear Leader.

So what percentage of the Argentinian bailout is gonna get kicked back to DJT? No way Donald makes this hugely unpopular move unless he stands to rake in a hell of a lot of money. I’d go as high as 80% but nothing less than 50.

Fellow Virginians - starting this Friday through November 4th, we are given the opportunity to send a message loud and clear that this administration’s policies are not acceptable and that change is coming. Vote like Democracy depends on it. We need a landslide-anything less will be shrugged off.

When or if the US rises from the ashes in 20-30 years, the new Constitution will have to do a much better job of securing Democracy than the current one does.

Trump’s humiliating display of servility at the Alaskan airport in front of Putin reminded me of the story of Boston Police captain who was fired for directing traffic at the funeral of the mother of the Mafia don in the North End back in the 70s. Same need to please.

The big difference between Chamberlain’s abject humiliation in Munich and Trump’s nauseating obsequiousness in Anchorage was the motivation - Neville was desperately trying to avoid another European war while Donnie was desperately trying to keep the Epstein files off the front pages.

So I’m sure this has been suggested already, but isn’t it fishy that the BLS, totally corrupted by DJT, would put out corrections that made them look incompetent while at the same time giving Trump and his allies powerful ammunition to use against Powell. If the shoe fits.

I think Bill Clinton would easily win a defamation lawsuit against Donald Trump - 20 Billion would be a good starting number. There is apparently no known evidence that Bill ever visited Epstein’s island and Trump’s mindless accusations should not be considered protected speech.

So this looks like a sell short week - Trump goosed the market last week making millions on his long calls and is sneaking in a lot of puts this weekend. He hinted at exploding the tariffs on Friday. Expect some bombshell from him early this week that will send the markets reeling again. Ka-ching

So eliminating taxes on SS benefits was never going to be part of the recon bill - it’s not allowed per the Byrd rule. That didn’t stop CNN and others from headlining Trump’s self-serving BS insisting that his sycophants in Congress put it in the bill. It was never going to happen.
