Nerds, Ghostbusters, Batman, Freakies, Nintendo and Cookie Crisp were some of my all-time favorites. As well as Rainbow Brite and the TMNT cereals too.

I loved that Ghostbusters cereal. Didn’t even care what flavor it was, I just remember staring at that box while I ate a few bowls of it. I ate a good share of Ralston cereals when I was a kid.

Glow toys are definitely cool. More things should glow, IMO. Maybe someday even the cereal pieces themselves. 😂

Very cool. I never had a chance to experience this one but as far as premiums go, not a bad offer.

This was a great write-up. So many great cereals. I preferred Cocoa Pebbles over Cocoa Krispies as well. One of my personal faves was Cookie Crisp. Loved the TMNT, Nintendo, & Pac-Man cereals as kid. Sorry to hear you’re allergic to peanuts, that E.T. cereal was pretty phenomenal.

That’s an awesome handful of boxes though. I see a few that are considered very valuable these days. I started collecting around 2002/2003, but I’ve been eating cereal all my life. Nothing like those early breakfast memories.

Can’t recall if I grabbed one of those throwbacks but I know I have an original. But I do have a bunch of the other throwbacks. Always an easy purchase when I see one of those on the shelves.

Yeah I was surprised to see this one make a comeback. I didn’t exist when they first appeared but I think it’s great that they bring the old stuff back from time to time.

Awesome. There has to be some company out there willing to do fun stuff like this again. Bifurcated cereal boxes with two flavors, along with these types of bowls for those of us who want a chance to relive the past. 😆

I love that version as well! And if you happen to ever find one of those bowls, I hope you share it. I’ve never seen one in person but I definitely remember eating Nerds as a young kid. I think I recall the grape/strawberry flavor though.
