Been majorly sick for three days and Im coping with some awful life stuff, but antique beasts cat headdress came today, so that's something im over the moon about. I have been hunting this for over a decade, and its just a nice small thing in a hard time to finally have it.

I couldn't resist making an overskirt to pair with the skirt I made. Holy moly chiffon layer and the satin texture bottom layer were slippery and hard to assemble into a coherent structure. I don't really have much in the way of detailed trimming, so i shell tucked the bias tape to add some texture

After two weeks of learning as much as I can about sewing from nothing, I finally got the confidence to make my first handmade lolita skirt. This is the first garment ive made, so its janky construction is what it is. Definitely learned a lot for next time
