~1305 called the hospice again, explained again, got transferred, explained again, got transferred again, explained again... Hold... Hold... Ok it's done; finally the hospital bed is sorted out.

They said I could call directly and say we don't need it.

~1220 Called the medical equipment to cancel the hospital bed from hospice. They said I had to call hospice and the order to cancel has to come from them/the nurse. 🙃

~1230 called nurse, didn't pick up, voicemail is full

Oh that's a transfer to the billing department...

~1210 Got back to the billing department who confirmed there's no hospital bed on the patient's account

Called the hospice line and explained the situation that we don't need the hospital bed from them but already got the call to deliver.

We have been getting a bill from them every month so we assumed it was still a rental because the bill said it was a rental. Thank goodness we've been ignoring them because we were advised insurance would cover it but how shady! So I ask why have we been getting a bill every month?
