I 💯 understand this feeling. The way I usually get my brain to shut off that feeling is I get in a call with my friends and we do "blind drawing" where we draw smth random, close our eyes, and laugh at the absurd thing we just scribbled out. It helps bring back the joy AND makes you feel better. ♥
