Things I have learned about pewter casting this week:
1. Superfine graphite > Talc
2. 300F mold preheat > 400F mold preheat
3. Surface detail quality correlates to whacks with the wrench while the pewter is molten. More whacks > fewer whacks.

I made a set based on Catalan solids with numbers repeated multiple times. The d4, d6, and d8 are on the three different Catalan d24s, the d10 is on a d30, the d12 is on the d48, and the d20 is on a d60. I also wonder why granularity between d20 and d100 hasn't caught on in RPGs.

In Freaky Tales (2024), after the last line of the film but before the credits, a model head appears for a few frames before exploding. Did the filmmakers intend for it to look like IRL Californian Nazi Stephen Miller or is it a coincidence?
