Spoiler: the series is a criticism of ideological dogmatism and how it's so often rooted in the inherent evils of human nature. You're gonna get anti-capitalism themes from that, but in NONE of the main games has that ever been the main focus.

Bowser is the performatively angry dad who yells about woke and DEI at the school board meetings, while K. Rool is the degenerate crackhead living out by the bins who gets into fights with the PE teacher over unspecified beef.
