We want to believe the PA Senate Republicans are targeting Blue areas only. That’s not true. They’re affecting Red counties as well. Small rural providers, like LANTA and rabbittransit, are also in crisis. People depend on public transit to get to work, to buy groceries. Where’s the accountability?
Because the State Senate hasn’t acted, we are just days away from devastating cuts to SEPTA.
School starts in 2 weeks and those cuts would hurt 55,000 kids – and their families – who rely on SEPTA buses and trains to get to class.
It’s time to get this done.
