This isn’t just a Pitt NIL problem. The inequity is very real. Look at Texas Tech and their $21M 2025 recruiting class.

Unless Pitt is able to get some Mellon / Scaife NIL money, Pitt will forever be no more than a middling. And, this inequity is going to kill collegiate football/basketball for many fanbases.

Islam Gannar is one MB being targeted by the Pitt staff. She currently plays for CDA Volley Talmassons Pink Panthers in the Italian A2 league.
