I agree. I have been seeking clarity for months now as to exactly how this £ will be used and benefit grass roots cricket. The absence of any response suggests, as per the article, that it will be used to build/pay for hotels, conference facilities and pay down debt.

My worry is that the counties decide what to do with it. There is no guarantee that they will invest it in grassroots or even in county cricket
