rescued her off the street when she was just skin & bones, at an estimated age of about 5. Stayed with us 'till the end of her days, & not a nasty bone in her body. If a little kid inadvertently hurt her, like stepped or fell on her or something, she would gently whine and look to us to "save" her ❤️
