I hope someone will do collecting & sequencing here in Jefferson County because the biogeography of these small Plethodon in AL is really cool and we don't know what's at these sites up here
Honestly the only problem with only finding fast-moving Plethodon salamanders at Ruffner Mtn is never getting any great photos 🫠
Either southern zigzag (P. ventralis) or webster's (P. websteri) 🤷🏻♀️

I hope someone will do collecting & sequencing here in Jefferson County because the biogeography of these small Plethodon in AL is really cool and we don't know what's at these sites up here
Keeping an eye on the coach-free LSU-Arkansas score, but at the moment the prospect of A&M losing to SC is more entertaining

Interestingly, I asked USPS reddit and someone said most likely it was missorted at origin (NJ) & put in a crate to Detroit instead of Atlanta. The crate it should've been on got scanned into Atl & Bhm, while my package itself got scanned in Detroit & is now making its way down here 😂🤷🏻♀️
