As a creator, I know views shouldn’t be my main focus, and they’re not the only reason I make content…
But I can’t help feeling a bit drained. I put out a video that performed well compared to my others, but when I released the second episode, it flopped. It’s pretty disheartening.

I'm working on a site to curate Minecraft Beta mods, texture packs, maps, and more. One challenge in the Beta community is that we're spread out, and not everyone wants to use Discord. That's why I've decided to create a website that brings everything together in one location.

Every encounter with a skeleton or creeper was risky and thrilling. Building a simple shelter felt like an achievement, and every torch you placed helped secure a small corner of the world. Maybe that’s what’s missing—a bit of genuine tension and accomplishment, a real sense of survival. #Minecraft

there's something so cozy about a hybridized beta modern look to minecraft
i miss the more intense way the engine rendered things like fog, vibrance and ambient occlusion
the older style of texture definitely doesn't feel like it belongs in modern minecraft anymore though, it feels weirdly uncanny

Wow, I never knew this is what they looked like. Is this similar to what villagers were supposed to look like, but zombified?
I’m curious about the direction Mojang will take with the new approach to releasing updates. I kind of miss the older versions and the way releases were structured.
While it’s no longer the small indie game it once was, I still feel nostalgic for those days—especially the Secret Friday updates!
