I haven't personally played it so it wouldn't be that hard to convince me. Plus I'm already kind of a fan of scarlet/violet so it shouldn't be too difficult. I'd say like a 2

I've always gone with charmander but I get the appeal of blastoise. If I could pick from any Pokémon to have as a starter tho I'd have to go with sandshrew.

I think it's a great way to introduce the new mons. I think even opening up the national dex after 3 or 4 gyms would be nice because by then you most likely have a team of mons you like and then you can just go and catch your favorites.

I've been playing OTK mathmechs for a while now and my turns usually aren't that long it just depends on if my opponent has a way to stop my summons/attacks.
