In contrast, I can go with Ryanair right now and book for a flight to Treviso exactly one year from now. End of episode 1.

So I decide to book separately. I go to SNCF Connect where I have to stop because tickets beyond the 9th of January aren't for sale yet.

Step 1: check the excellent www.seat61.com and find out the best option to Verona is Bxl-Lyon-Milan and then local trains to Verona.
Ok, I check thetrainline.com but all options presented have a bus leg. Cannot filter for only train, oddly.

So, I want to explore how much would it cost to go to Italy from Brussels over the carnival holidays with my family, by train. That is assuming I can convince them to go again after the terrible experience we had on the old and dusty Nightjet to Vienna this year.

J'ai eu cette idée aussi. Le matin entre Cambre-Étoile et Montgomery c'est juste du n'importe quoi.

OBB has those cabins on very limited trains. I recently came back from Vienna on a train that had them but when I booked it didn't show up. There is no offer focused on business travellers right now. Maybe in a few years as OBB rolls out more of those cabins. I'm glad there's more.

Though that is the part that is currently missing. There are very limited options, and even then only on some of the newest trains. So if there's an area that needs investing, it's the single, business traveller who can justify paying same as a plane (so not the existing solo cabins).

Sorry for the hiccup! I did not sleep very well but got to Milan on time and after a cappuccino that a) is good and b) cost 1.70€, everything's nice again. Safe trip on your second leg!

I approve the #betterposter layout. :)

Is the 2/3 ratio of responses to be expected when designing these kind of surveys?
