There really wasn't. There were exceptions sure but pree explosion of the three it was just a lot of mid range bs and post ups.

He's so good to watch all the time but in games like that where he just dominants the game it's really something else. I hope fans realize that isn't something that you get to see from every player.

Just do it like this. If you take 100 three point shots and you're an average shooter at 36% that's 36x3=108 points. If you take the same 100 two points shots and make 50% of them you get 2x50=100 points. The three is just a better shot.

It's because the three is the best shot. In a strictly points per shot scenario. If you make 36% of your threes you score more than making 50% of your twos. It's just math and the league is waking up to what the warriors knew 10 years ago.

Nobody makes the 2 at 70%. League average for layups is 56% and mid range shots is about 45%. If you make even just 36% of your threes it's a better shot than making 50% of your twos.

Unless you can get to the rim the three is the better shot. And even if you get to the rim there's a 50/50 you get fouled and it doesn't get called " that late in the game ".

Mark I agree. I think the NBA has an officiating issue more than a 3 point issue. Fans don't want to feel hosed. And seeing bad calls all night every night turns off WAY more fans than 3s.

Yeah but I agree.with some of that. Snap should be restricted to fresh meats/veggies and at worst frozen/dry stock meals and components. No alcohol no candy no stuff like that. Similar to Wic.

Like there are absolutely things about watching the games that stink. But most of them are presentation things like too many times outs and commercials. Replay being whack. Officiating as I said. Mid range shots being worth the same as a lay up.

Let the NBA get the officiating in order first and foremost. I feel like if anything seeing your team hosed by a dude 2 feet away turns more people off.
