Possibly, but I ended up crocheting a blanket as my handmade baby gift. But it’s not like Kid’s birthday will change so if I get brave, I could make it later.

Sister of my soul! That’s my exact issue. I had to give up on the sweetest baby sampler for my nephew in progress because the colors were too close and I kept messing up. I felt so dumb.

Oh, I do NOT like that confetti. Or using two shades that are super close in shade close together. But that’s because my eyes aren’t great and I can’t tell one from the other. :p

Aww, the watermelon one made me smile. My mother loved watermelon anything, our kitchen was very well decorated as a kid.

Doooo ittttt! I know what a PITA it was and I still get the urge to make rugs, lol. It is kinda fun, even if I talk like it was torture. I used burlap as a base fabric, but I don’t know what the modern options are.

Oh, that is too cute! Have you considered hand tufting? It’s not only a pain in the butt to do, but as a bonus, it takes forever and sometimes randomly starts falling out even though you’re CERTAIN you tied every knot! So really it’s a win in every way. ;)

You seem like a person I would like. I’m one of these two things, and I’ve never been evangelical. (But certainly grew up with a lot of them in the family so I have some baggage I’m still working out.)

I feel that way about coloring with gel pens sometimes. It’s so pretty. I think I wanna try misting one with some alcohol spray and see what the back does.
