On Philip Glass's birthday a throwback to that time I saw Satyagraha at the ENO, which remains one of the most mesmerizing, sublime operas I've ever seen. In fact in my all-time list it is only beaten by the OHP's 2022 Carmen.

Libera's Southwark concert (10th May 2025) marked almost exactly 10 years since I heard Libera for the first time (16th May 2015) and it was also my 25th Libera concert!

London is purdy at night.

That's 2008? I was sometimes watching Libera's videos back then, but that was the extent of my following. Even though I am often at the RFH next door, I have only rarely been to the QEH. In fact my last concert there was way back in 2018 when Nicola Benedetti played her Stradivarius with the NCO.

I was sat the other side for that one. 😊
