Son of an immigrant here. My late dad was an Anglo-Indian (one of his grandfathers/great-grandfathers was a British immigrant to India haha). He emigrated in the 1960s, worked hard all his life. He was also very conservative and voted Tory :) He paid for my degrees, and I have worked all my life.
