So I've been working on my model some
I wasn't super happy with the range of motion so I spent some time today trying to improve it. There are definitely some parts where the deformations look weird, but honestly, it makes her look like jelly when she moves around and I love it.

I went to go lay down but I had an Idea instead so here we are.
I started thinking about it when I was watching Arcane last night.
I just baked the normal map and then opened it in Krita and painted over it, and reapplied it. I love it

Today marks 20 years in Runescape for me. I don't really play RS3 much anymore but I'm so excited to finally have this.

Okay, the way I've been shading has been bugging me, so I'm gonna try something different. I've been trying the pretty typical "painting shadows on" thing, but that's just, not how I intuitively understand lighting and materials. So instead I'll try the way I tend to think about light

I remember in middle school and high school being obsessed with the cloud fox from MapleStory for some reason. I probably had hundreds of tests and homework assignments with one doodled on it

I wanted to practice with lighting, specifically multiple light sources, and this is the first idea that came to mind. Definitely more than I planned.
I'm still kind of at the stage where I'm trying a lot of new things to see what sticks, but I'm really happy with this.

I'm so happy with how this turned out I can't even begin to express it.
I didn't do much for a background, just gave her a lil rock to stand on and some sun rays, but that is more than what I was planning to do, so.
