Legit wondering if our Floofy Chaos Gremlin (youngest cat) called in a favor to her Higher Ups & requested retaliation for the trauma we put her (& her brothers) through today (confinement to carriers, car rides, ppl & animals nearby, vaccinations), bc JFC, the last 11 hrs have been a SHIT SHOW

There is a small child (~4 y/o; supervised) at the bus stop outside this hotel, eating a snack, dancing, bouncing, and generally flailing around on the sidewalk….so boisterously that he just fell, as it happens

Someone in the parking lot right outside our bedroom window is BLASTING rap music from their car. At 4:23 in the damn morning. WHY.

Yesterday morning, Ada apparently had her turn with the Collective Orange Brain Cell. She used it to figure out how to turn off my sunrise alarm clock as it started up 🐈🧠

Thankfully, DH caught her doing it. Explaining to my boss why I was heaven-knows-how-late to work would have been fun 😅🤦🏻‍♀️

Discovered this afternoon that my iPhone apparently sends a text message to my emergency contacts if i’m involved in a motor vehicle collision. Also, I apparently designated @maja-li.bsky.social as one of those at some point

Found out that a coworker passed away this morning. 3 months ago, she was suddenly diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer and given 4 months. My supervisor was supposed to go visit her tomorrow and is heartbroken. We’re all taking it a bit hard, actually. She was only 44

Ha. Woke up this morning to the notification that I’ve averaged 2 hrs and 41 mins of sleep over the last 7 nights (it disappeared before I could capture it). But this is my monthly stat. So…yeah, this line in my bio is entirely accurate 😬
